Hydrosols or Hydrolates are the pure, natural waters produced during the essential oil steam distillation process.They are perhaps best known as Floral Waters or Botanical Waters. Hydrosols contain the water soluble components of the plant which gives them their aroma and therapeutic qualities and are able to be applied directly to the skin, unlike most pure essential oils.
They are considered to be the homeopathic version of aromatherapy and, as such, are ideal for use with children, animals, and those with fragile immune systems.
We recommend that you spray our waters lavishly on your face and inhale. It is also ideal to spray bed linens, pets and children. They can be used as often as desired throughout the day and night; they simply cannot be over-used or abused.*
